To Order

Members can choose to borrow up to 6 individual titles from the online catalogue lists below, for up to 3 weeks at a time.

Or members can request a bag of “Ready Reads” where you tell us what you like to read and volunteers will pick a selection of 6 books for you e.g. Board Books, Picture Books, First Facts, Younger Readers, Junior Fiction, Annuals and Graphic novels, Teenage, Study/Revision Guides, Adult Fiction, Biography/Autobiography, Large Print, Talking Books, Local History, Crime, Thriller, Romance, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Horror, Historical Fiction and Classics… or any other specific non-fiction subjects such as: dinosaurs, baking, space travel, wellbeing, true crime, pets, crafts, sport, gardening, nature, etc,

Fill in the online form below or alternatively, pick up a form from the library to fill in and return by hand.

Completed forms can be returned to the tray in the entrance porch during “Collection Times” or any time the front door is open.

There is no public access into the library building.

If you would like to join the library, new members will just need to fill in a membership form, available at the library, and bring proof of ID.

To Collect

Pre-booked collection times are available  on the following days and times:

Monday 2.00pm-5.00pm,
Wednesday 2.00pm-5.00pm
Thursday 2.00pm-5.00pm
Saturday 10.30am-12.00pm.

Orders can be collected 3 working days after ordering. The library building remains closed to the public and social distancing and hygiene measures are in place.

We are unable to take in book donations at this time.

To Return Books

Books can be returned to the library during the collection times above. Please place them in the returns box provided.

All returned books will be quarantined for 72 hours before becoming available again for loan. The health and safety of our volunteers and customers is paramount. If you have books on loan that are now overdue please return them as soon as possible so that the library has a full selection of books available for loan.

Please bear in mind that some may still be on loan to other members or in quarantine awaiting re-shelving. We will do our very best to fulfil your requests but may, on occasion, have to include substitute titles.

All requests must include the Class location details (if known) from our catalogue book lists. This will make it much easier for our volunteers to find the books for you.

If you can not decide which specific books to choose, from the catalogue lists above, we can always choose a selection of “Ready Reads” for you. Fill in your details and then scroll down to “Ready Reads” and let us know what kinds of books you like.
